ETAL, S. A. de C. V., began its operations in 1963. Our company has over 53 years’ experience and is one of the few vertically integrated companies in Mexico. Below you can see a chronological history of the company:
1963 – Began operations in Mexico City, producing electrodes and electrical contacts under the name Contactos y Electrodos Mallory, in partnership with P. R. Mallory Inc.
1964 – Manufacture of points and capacitors for the automotive industry.
1972 – First castings of copper alloys.
1972 – Manufacture of transformers and impedance bonds.
1978 – This year saw the separation from P.R. Mallory Inc., and the founding of the Company Etal.
1979 – Production of brazing alloys and contacts under the name Etal-Engelhard, by way of a joint venture with the company Engelhard Corp.
1982 – The incorporation of Etal-Baker, a company specializing in the production of dental amalgams.
1989 – Etal began exporting, initially to the United States.
1998 – Received Q. S. 9000 Certification.
2013 – Expansion of casting activities with the permanent mold process.
